Great Blue Heron Rising (Giclée Print)

Betsie's friend captured this great blue heron taking off from the river during her white water rafting trip. Her mom discovered the photo Betsie was planning to paint and asked if Betsie could make the heron appear to be taking off from the pond at her parent’s house as a 50th wedding anniversary gift to her dad. Betsie grew up swimming in that pond, alongside frogs and snakes!
